All I see now is what if scenario's, and they all have to do with Romney. I saw was Ron Paul was right about the IRS, and people backing him scenario's. Maybe this goes a bit further and was to suppress RP, with the blessings of both camp's. Since the Tea Party originated with 2007's popularity of RP.

I'm from Rep. Simpson's hometown of Longview, and I'm a big fan of his for many reasons.

I worked in the industry for a gold dealer here in Austin. The only time sales tax was required to begin with was on purchases of less than 1k. If you purchased more than that, sales tax 8.25% didn't apply anyway.

I sold to clients nationwide, now I consult. Texas was the only state that required me to charge sales tax, and this seems to bring Texas in line with every other state in that respect.

So this is a nominal win if you routinely purchase less than 1k and live in TX. The only thing is, you need to purchase around 3k to save enough cash to buy one silver coin.

Still a big fan of the good David Simpson, representin' East TX! I would say the next real item on the agenda would be for gold and silver to be made legal tender in TX......we need to bring the good Doctors Paul for that one.

Adam Curry, on one of the more recent No Agenda podcast, threw out the supposition that the IRS scandal will ultimately fall at the feet of the GOP.

Considering how hostile the power structure within the RNC has been to the liberty movement and some elements of the tea party. I actually believe he might be on to something. We already know the GOP hijacked the tea party and incorporated it into the Tea Party. The GOP needed the 'Tea Party' to be about religious right buzzwords and not about fiscal responsibility and the Constitution.

The purported two party system relies on a populace that is driven by emotion and fear and not by liberty and freedom.

For the folks who voted me down..when will you EVER learn. That video wasn't even the best acting that I've seen.

It took 20 minutes for police to arrive with enough firepower to take down the two suspects. TWENTY MINUTES. We should all just be thankful they stopped with one person. They could have easily just hacked away at people until the armed police officer showed up.

I guess if you are in GB you can run your country the way you want but this is not an acceptable method for how I want a country I'm living in to run.

The IRS abomination has been my biggest example of the FACT that liberty is violated in this country since the 70's. I quit paying the slave tax in 77 and after fighting them for over 25 years, had to start filing again in 2004 only because my wife became a doctor and there's no way she would be "allowed" to practice medicine if our status was "non-filer". I now consider filing that FU#$ING form to be "protection money" that we have to pay the "gang" so they don't come and break our legs and burn down our business. In reality, that's EXACTLY what they are. Vito and his gang keeping the "local" (USA) residents in line for the "Don"...
