And that work can be solved by answering one question and one question only.
"What is the greatest weakness that a Romney supporter has? "
What that means is how can a Romney supporter be turned into a Paul supporter?
I've done it. (Although it's kind of hard to find a Romney supporter, but I did find one!)
In that interaction, all I asked was, "what about Romney do you like most?" (they mentioned that they had a small business, and thought he was better than Obama for business.) I then asked "What do you know about Ron Paul?" They answered not much. (Really?, I was shocked--NOT) I then told them of Ron Paul's undying commitment to lower taxes, and that his track record proves he will NEVER VOTE FOR A TAX INCREASE! I directed her to a few websites, and prompted her to do a few minutes of research online. She seemed impressed, and promised that she would.
If we can convert both Romney voters,(for the last few voting states) and Romney delegates (for the last dozen or so state conventions) and FINALLY ANY ROMNEY NATIONAL DELEGATES, WE CAN TAKE Tampa!!
So please add your thoughts, best questions, and best convert answers/videos, etc. Once we conquer all of the Romney supports false ideas that he is good enough to win/be president. Then it's all over!!!

Romney supports do not know what the NDAA is.

Or maybe that they think people who have a lot of money must be right (even if they steal it and ruin lives to obtain it).
Possibly that they believe in the Dem Rep paradigm.

Talked to a Romney supporter
about Ron Paul and she said that she thinks that he would be doing better if not for his foreign policy. I told her that Ron Paul is not about allowing people to do something to our national security or our citizans without a fight! He just simply asks that if we need to go blow some shiz up then we need to get a decloration of war from congress and get it done. She was like...oh...no kidding, then took a look at her ballot with a penciled in bubble for Mittens in the most confusing mannor. I think she will change it. I just think she needed to talk with her hubby first.
Make sure that you do not come off as pressuring someone to vote RP and just explain the issues, and that in and of itself will do the trick :)

I think the greatest weakness Romney has is being too similar to Obama. To win the election, Republicans should put up a candidate who provides contrast to the opposition. Who contrasts the most with Obama? Ron Paul. Who is the most similar? Romney. It's like picking an ice cream flavor and your choices are chocolate and vanilla swirl OR vanilla and chocolate swirl.. like WTF is the difference?

Romney supporters want to beat Obama. Period.
That's what it comes down to. Romney supporters are Republicans who want to beat Obama, not Republicans who want to support Romney.
The key is to convince them that the media pundits are WRONG and that Romney WILL LOSE to Obama, if he is the nominee.
Step 1 - Get them to admit that they do not think Romney is the absolute best that the GOP could produce. There are not that many people who think Romney is a great candidate. It is also true that there weren't that many people who thought McCain was a great candidate. He lost. While Republicans supported George W. Bush in the 2008 re-election, most forget that he was not thought of highly in the 2000 election. He lost the popular vote to Al Gore, of all people (Gore the nut job) and Bush almost lost the Electoral College. Before that, Bob Dole was not loved by Republicans, either. See a pattern? In fact, George H.W. Bush was not loved by most Republicans, either. He won on Reagan's coattails, and then lost when he had to stand for re-election on his own. Which brings us to ...
Step 2 - Get them to see that the political pundits have had it WRONG about the Republican Party's candidates for over 20 years. Romney is just another weak, non-conservative candidate that WILL LOSE to Obama because nobody outside of the Republican Party supports him AT ALL. And ask them, why is it that the GOP has put up such weak candidates all these years? (No need to answer that question -- just ask it and let them stew on it a bit). Which brings us to ...
Step 3 - Invoke the ghost of Ronald Reagan. The last GREAT Republican candidate for president was Ronald Reagan. And what did Reagan stand for? Limited government. Lower taxes. Get the government off the backs of the people. Get inflation under control. Be honest with the people. Strong national defense, but without making enemies. And a return to the principles of the Founding Fathers. What Would Ronald Reagan Do? Would he support Romney? NO! Romney is NOT for smaller government. He supports governemnt bailouts. He supports government-mandated health insurance. He supports gun control laws. Romeny is NOT a "Ronald Reagan conservative."
Step 4 - But Ron Paul is. Ron Paul is a "Ronald Reagan conservative." Ronald Reagan would support Ron Paul today. Ronald Reagan's famoous speech "A Time for Choosing" could have been written and delivered by Ron Paul. They are two peas in a pod. Ron Paul is the closest thing to Ronald Reagan that we have today.
Step 5 - And MOST IMPORTANTLY -- Ron Paul CAN BEAT OBAMA. RP has support across the board - Republicans, Democrats, Independents, the US Military, and people all around the world. They all respect RP because he stands for the same principles that Ronald Reagan stood for. The polls PROVE that when Ron Paul's message actually gets out to people, they LIKE him and they SUPPORT him. The problem is, the media supports Romney, so that is all we ever hear about. The media is trying to jam Romney down our throats -- and if we are dumb enough to fall for it, Obama will be re-elected.
It is time to support the "Ronald Reagan conservative" ... Ron Paul.
You do NOT have to vote for Romney at the Tampa convention. The GOP's own legal counsel says there is NO requirement to vote for any particular candidate at the convention.
Do you WANT a Ronald Reagan conservative in the oval office for the next 4 years? Then support the candidate that Reagan would support today. Vote what you believe in. Vote Ron Paul.
In fact, it would be great for someone to put together a mix video of Ronald Reagan giving his famous "A Time for Choosing" speech cut with clips of Ron Paul giving a speech (cutting from Reagan to Paul and back again, etc. merging them together as one candidate).
The winning formula in Tampa is this:
Media = Pushing you to vote for Romney = will LOSE to Obama.
Ron Paul = Ronald Reagan = will BEAT Obama
Every single GOP candidate gets on stage and invokes the memory of Ronald Reagan. WHY? BECAUSE REPUBLICANS LOVE RONALD REAGAN. THEY LOVE THE IDEAS HE STOOD FOR. AND THIS IS WHY THEY CAN EMBRACE RON PAUL, TOO.

What do "Romney supporters" see as Dr. Paul's major weakness?
Most are voting ABO...simply voting for the lesser evil....and they see Dr. Paul as being weak in fighting muslim extremists/weak foreign policy....I like to point out that Dr. Paul is THE ONLY CANDIDATE who understands that the CONGRESS is the branch of our government with the power to declare wars....that usually stops them in their tracks....and makes them think....most "Romney supporters" are just Obama haters....and they will vote for anyone that they think can win....pointing out that our troops are supporting Dr. Paul with their dollars as his top 3 donors helps bring them over too....but most, just want Obama gone and will vote for ANY alternative....

We all have spoken of the voter demographics of Mitt Romney. On which issues has flip flopped on from health care, individual mandate to the bank bailouts. It really does come to two simple statements. National delegates who are coming to Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida to vote for Mitt Romney do not pay enough attention to the Presidential primary or hope as President he will be a better choice than Barrack Obama. Emotion has overruled rational thought and wishful thinking surpasses reality of their front runner candidate.

There is going to be a pan European deep recession - starting around now, due to their mountainous debts.
The Fed has already started to try and bail Europe out.
But that would cost $8 to $32 trillion. Do US taxpayers really want to be on the hook for that?

Romney is on record as saying that the Fed is "doing a good job".
The US currently spends $931bn p.a on the military and related expenses or 25% of all government spending. Romney wants to increase it by $2.1tn over 4 years.
Romney would lose the US Dollar's reserve status.
Romney would cause economic collapse in the US.
Romney is up to his neck with extremely dodgy business contacts. E.G. Allen Stanford. It would get worse should he ever become President.

Romney never created any jobs at Bain, he probably lost a net 50,000 jobs or so overall.
Bain mismanaged several companies to make a quick buck (e.g. no basic maintenance of equipment to inflate profits short term). Jobs were lost earlier than they might have been, more jobs might have been able to be saved if Bain had not taken the company over.

touches on one of the most essential questions of the campaign.

We know this much.
Tens of thousands of us (conservatively) are going to be in Tampa for the convention. Many will be military veterans that support RP, which makes a profound statement in itself.
What can be done in that very limited time frame to metaphorically grab these delegates by the lapels, and get them to see the light?
We need to start thinking from their perspective, and make one final "hail Mary" pass that will hopefully make a strong enough impact to get them on board.
Many of these delegates may have already bounced from one candidate to another, and already feel like they are having to "settle" for Mittens for the sake of the party. So it's not like they have any real conviction in the first place.
How can we use this to our advantage?
We can expect that the city of Tampa is not going to be friendly toward us. They are going to try and do what they can to keep the majority of us from interacting with the national delegates. We are already seeing this in their preparations for the convention.
We are creative, talented, and determined enough to find ways around the barriers they are going to put in place.
I would like to get a discussion going about how we can influence these "Romnney delegates" from the time they land at the airport, as they move toward their hotel rooms, and eventually to the RNC arena.
I'd like to see RP supporters with T-shirts that have powerful messages on them at the airport.
Billboards or supporters holding signs that line the route from the airport to their hotels, and from their hotels to the convention.
Possibly see if we can advertise on the hotel TV channels where they will be staying.
Local ads on Tampa radio and TV.
Signs on Taxis.

etc. etc. etc..
This is our LAST chance to make an impact.
I think we need to refine a message in a manner that REALLY gets their attention and makes them think, and then MAKE SURE that message is EVERYWHERE they will be.
That message should essentially be:
"Don't get fooled again."
If people are going to go through ALL of the effort, time, and expense to get to Tampa, than why not fight like our lives depend on it?!
The ideal situation would be to "have fun" with fellow supporters at "Paulfest" that weekend, and then execute a plan starting Monday morning that they will never forget.
