Mutt Wrongney operative's fake R3VOL slate as IF 'all sides' are miffed, and smearing the entire convention tension as being solely our fault!
they don't outright say "FAKE Ron Paul slate of delegates." Then cut to a R3VOL complaining about RINO shenanigans, in a way that's edited to make unclear which side was at fault. The interview edit literally makes it seem like the Ron Paulians are also dismayed as IF it were one of their own who passed around the fake delegate slate.
Subtle, but undeniable.

then why all the dirty tricks? either we have rogue romney supporters who are risking their reputations to commit election fraud or there's a concerted effort by local romney campaigns to skew results. likely a mix of both.
as they say: what is true of the lower, is true of the higher. the biggest mistake a local romney campaign could make would be to accept Ron Paul as a legitimate opponent. and this is precisely why they must resort to dirty, underhanded tricks!
what is sad is that the romney campaign's best strategy at this point is to hide their true feelings and beliefs in order to project their version of reality. and at a very basic level, we are fighting precisely that!!
the truth is the truth and nothing else! you don't need to frame it in a certain light or spin it just a certain way. and the Ron Paul campaign to me is about honestly, in policy and practice.
we've got the light, so if they pull any dirty tricks, don't sink to their level. we've already got the higher ground, so the only response is to shed a little light and let them destroy themselves.

I was just at the Nevada state convention and the Romney campaign tried that SAME thing with us! The difference was that we were handed our slate at the Ron Paul table by people we knew were associated with RPHQ. Before we got the ballots for the first voting round of the committeeman and the committeewoman, that Ron Paul delegates swept, by the way, some guy started passing out a piece of paper that was the EXACT same neon green as our official slate that had a list of Romney delegates instead of the Ron Paul delegates. I was sitting with a Romney delegate on the way home (Sparks to Las Vegas) on the plane and he said that he had reported the incident to Ron Paul national HQ and told them the guys name. He intimated that there would possibly be criminal charges brought against him by the Ron Paul campaign.

Looks like clear and convincing evidence of election fraud by the Romney camp. And yet Romney's trying to challenge the Maine delegate result?
Ginger, contact Ron Paul's Maine campaign headquarters and send them the video. Ask them if they want to go to the authorities with the evidence. You might want to consult with an attorney and get some sworn affidavits from yourself and the other witnesses, as additional evidence. Make sure you save a full copy of the unedited video as well.
Not Election Fraud :(
While it was AWESOME to catch and confront the people doing this, I don't think this is illegal. I know that some reps of the Paul campaign were discussing doing the exact same thing to the Romney supporters. We chose not to do it. We focused on accomplishing our goals rather than muddy the water with typical political plays.
And, the guy in the white hat is one of our main Ron Paul Campaign reps, David Boyer. They are very aware of all of the things that the Romney campaign did to try to trick our delegates.
